Title: I know this has been asked before but . . .
Post by: AlanD on 13 May 2008, 10:17
Cant seem to find it and Im stressing out so Im going to ask again. I know Rhyso has posted this before, I need to reset the service interval light on my MK4, what buttons and what order do I need to press to stop it saying "PLEASE SERVICE" when I turn her on, chappy who serviced her back in Feb never reset it and I've been the laziest person on the planet, its time to get it reset as Im trying (and failing) to sell her.

With ignition switched off press and hold the trip reset button.  Switch ignition on and release the reset button.   Turn the knob to reset the minutes on the clock to the right and the display should return to normal.

apparently its in your manual  :lipsrsealed:

and congrats goes to Rich who posted this:

Some of us aren't blessed with a wealth of knowledge like Rhyso ;)

Still not had any phone calls about her. I had one actually, but they live in Plymouth (why they called me I dont know lol). Iv had to knock £500 off, shes now up for £3995.
