I came out to the garage yesterday and noticed a small oil leak under the car, thought nothing of it, but made a mental note of the size of patch on floor (£2 coin size).
Came down this morning to find another patch is slightly different place (car was slightly different place so makes sense).
I can see that the bush on the front passenger wishbone is oily, but can't see where it's coming from other than the driveshaft gator (but even that doesn't seem that oily).
The car has done 3000miles now.
Is it possible that with the hot weather we've been having is that the gearbox oil is getting hot, expanding and then venting somewhere? Does the gearbox have a breather pipe anywhere?
Anyone else had any leaks in this area? (Front Passenger wishbone area).

I've never had it and I haven't heard of anyone having a similar issue.
Looks like a trip to the dealer to me.

Just been to investigate....
It appears to be leaking from some kind of drain plug? sump plug? gearbox drain plug?
Oil is yellow, so may be engine or gearbox as it's only done 3k miles.
I can't see the plug, but's its round with a hex/torx hole in the middle of it (from what I can feel).
It almost appears as if it's worked loose a little (can't turn by hand obviously) so it may be leaking a little under pressure etc?
Thoughts?

Just tighten it up if you can reach it and then keep an eye on it.
If it is yellowish then it might not be engine oil as it would have started to turn a browny colour by 3k miles.
Can you get a pic?
-
Not too easy to get a pic...
The car is running lower (Sachs Coilovers) so not too easy to get underneath without a jack or ramps lol.
I did try looking through the online manuals (in maintenance forum) and it does look like th sump plug, but it's not mentioned explicitly.

I _think_ it's the plug circled in yellow that is leaking..

isnt that the gearbox ?

Gearbox drain plug.
If you tighten it and it still leaks then it will need replacing. Probably best just to get the dealer to do it as its a new car.
