My arches were messed up slightly so I left the trim on.
Quite like the gloss black but it don't really suit the other black trim, maybe get the rest done the same?
Out of interest Why did you get them sprayed up?
-
i really do prefere the arches left on...maybe look better if it was lowerd and had the non textured bumpers
-
i got them sprayed because i got fed up with cleaning the plastic trim over and over and over. they were textured but had them smoothed and coated with high build primer before top gloss coat was applied. colour code the bumpers or black the tops do you think...???
-
I am a fan of the de arched look...... was thinking of sorting mine but still unsure?? and I would try and match the rub strips to the bumpers or full colour code them...
-
coming a long good but needs a good slaming sir !!!
in fact all mk3s do
-
it's on my TO DO list
-
That dent will take some sorting.
-
you didn't replace the corners so it'll look unfinished
-
Nelds, why not colour code the side trims & bumper tops, leave the lower spoilers (front & back) alone though as they just don't look right painted!
-
i think i'm going to, thought i'd do them black first and see how they looked. reckon colour code is the way forward as it doesn't suit the blue car, it'd look ok on red or white i think
-
either go the whole hog and colour code everything like a VR6 or leave it in GTI trim is my opinion. half way in between doesn't look good (esp don't like it on mk2's)
If it was my car, I would get some better alloys and lower it, but thats just my opinion lol
nice colour car though

Have it like mine
