hi people..wot is the best oil to put in my golf 1.8i gti thats dun 175000 miles

I think its all down to choice realy, some would say put Synta silver (recomended oil) in it but I just put 10/40 semi synthetic in mine (its on 141,000) and its been fine so far  :smiley:

wouldn't even waste yer money on semi synth at that mileage

Go for castrol gtx high mileage or an equivelant oil but nothing too expensive

I'm not wasteing my money  :rolleyes:, its good oil at a good trade price  :smiley:
