ayone know how i can find out the security code for my car cd player ?  just for takin  the battery off....

did you ever find the answer to this, i have just taken my battery out to charge and want to know how to get the codes when replacing it!?

It depends. If its the original unit that came with the car when new. A VW dealer should be able to supply you with the code as long as you have your V5 document with your name and address on and proof of ID.

I know there is software availible for this type of thing on t'internet but will probably involve some heavy searching and faffing around. There used to be a old school mith many years ago for radios that needed codes...wip them out and bung it in the freezer for a couple of hours "aparently" used to get rid of codes lol...wouldnt advise it tho  :cool:
