Title: Judder pulling off...
Post by: _Adam_ on 09 May 2008, 10:39
when im pulling off in first, driving normally i feel a judder in the car mostly from the clutch pedal, its not from having the revs too low as i keep them just above 1000 to pull off. does anyone know if this may cause a problem, or is it a problem in the making, or just ignore it? :undecided:

lol - its the mount that bolts the transmission to the subframe - the bushes wear out; replace it with the R32 version :afro:

15 minute job to swap with a set of ramps

don't think its a priority but it depends on long you can put up with the juddering; plus you won't win any traffic light grand prix's

Indeed ivor : 1J0199851AM for the R32 dog bone mount £68.91

The last two letters are for differant cars:

AM for R32

AA for 5 Speed Manual

AA for 6 Speed Manual   I think the AA is about £40 from VW

You can also change the bushes (SuperFlex polyurethane or similar) but some people have done this and now its to stiff and rattles

R32 mount = Harder bushes to take R32 240bhp power
R32 mount for the win :afro:
