Looking to put vento front end on my mk3. What is needed? lights, grill, bonnet and bumper yeah? anyone got any pics and explain about doin it? Comments appreciated

yeah defo lights grill and bonnet and thats it. the bumpers are slightly different on the vento they bit longer. so dont worry bout the bumper :) to start with remove the grill. this has a few clips which will uncover some of the bolts to remove the headlights. there are 4 screws that hold each headlight in. indo these and disconnect the wiring and ure laughing :)

golfs have two types of connection, there was the standard CL type lights then the GTI Type lights, I think if you have GTI lights it had an adaper as all the looms were made to fit the CL type light, So yea the vento is exactly the same as golf but there are still two types of connection. On the later models i think they went over to the CL connection on the GTI Lights So it wont be a problem. So you shouldnt have a problem at all but you may have to unplug the little adapter, very very simple you cant miss what you need to do if you do need to do it.
