Title: Electrical problem?
Post by: ToRo on 08 May 2008, 22:06
When I drive along, and then stop at a junction or lights, my car revs itself then drops dramatically and eventually stalls, this has only started occuring today, and to top it all off my power steering went and then my engine died on the way home from Basingstoke...

The car starts up again first time afterwards... Any ideas?

Have posted this in The Garage too incase someone who knows doesn't read this category.

UPDATE: I think the problem stems from the heaters, as it only started once I'd put it to 0...

Still don't know :(

Check your vacuum hoses are still intact, especially check the thicker hose from the throttle body to the carbon cannister hasn't popped out
