Now i'm no photographer and they're off my phone so not great quality, but more importantly they don't really do it justice, so will do some better quality ones with a better camera at some point..
But opinions please...
Cheers, Ben.

Very nice, but, can't help thinkin it needs to be a little closer to the ground, only my thoughts
-
hmm, not my thing (looks a little to astra for me), but as long as you like
-
Well I think they look fantastic, goes like stonk (map) sounds fantastic (milltek) and looks great. Very jealous.
-
Gotta love the black wheels!
Very Nice VTEC
-
I think it would also look that little bit better sitting a little lower - and you'd obviously benefit from this too
I dont dislike the wheels just not too sure just yet... better pics might help
-
Cheers for the opinions guys.. Always knew they'd be varied...
As for lowering, just not going to happen, don't want a bumpy ride in anyway, as do 30k a year.. Plus I really don't think it looks high, still 18's, so same as standard..

Black 19" BBS CH's with a white rim.... Just pure class
Now where have I seen a picture of them

WHAT MAKE ARE THE WHEELS THEY SET THE CAR OFF(LOOKS GREAT).TAKING DELIVERY OF 5-DOOR WHITE ED30 IN LATE JUNE.THINKS OF WHEEL CHANGE.
-
18" Silver BBS CH's on Michelin PS2's, (as sparklingly clean like those wheels on Phil Mcavity's) would look a lot lot better IMO.

hehe, he has just to a very similar alloy off
imo a anthracite BBS rim would suit it better, either a CH or CK , the Golf needs a quality/ prestige alloy imo

A look like the wheels on yours is a lot better to me, IMO 182, those just dont seem to "flow", if that makes any sense? If you compare a pic of yours with side on view you'll see what I mean. Each to their own though
-
And a black front VW badge.....
I'm sorry but IMHO some people are just good at what they do and the rest of us just have to follow...

PS... take no notice of me as I've been down the pub again

i do like my rims, but i think a more anthracite colour would suit the white better, something like my old CK's colour

Thats the colour I meant, is that Anthracite ? It suits a CW and just looks "right".
-
i have to say, im not keen on them, i would say a silver version would look more striking, i dont get black rubber and black rims, i just doesnt look quite right.
I wasnt keen on the black rockinghams (detroits) when i viewed my car. But the main is that your happy vtec.
Be good to see you at one of the up coming Gti festivals.

its a BBS colour called brilliant anthracite
-
as you say the pics probably dont do them justice but they look ok, you could have went the easy option and bought CH's but its good to see someit diff, i would love another set of alloys but finances dont allow it at the mo.

Anyone have a pic of them in 18 on a black GTI for example?
-
I was thinking of getting the standard wheels sprayed black, but always like the TD Pro Race 1.2 wheels and they are lightweight rims too (used on the BTCC cars).. I'm more of a 'Built to go' man rather than the bling 'Built to show'. Plus always loved the look of white cars with black wheels..
Oh by the way guys, my Pescaras are up for grabs if anyone is interested. Thinking of maybe selling them individually for any of you chaps who have a damaged wheel that needs replacing, or want a spare? They are spotless too, with no curb marks etc..
-
you have email
-
Like it , nice wheel, would go for these on Integra for sure,
Whats the offset ? ET45?
I just think VW and BBS are well suited, will be playing with my CHs soon,
Rob
-
Think so mate, can't remember.. :embarassed: They just asked me what car and were built to order..
-
I Like it mate  as you say light wheel so suits the theme you have,
Would love to go out with you in the car maybe you can take me out in it at Awesome RR day
-
Yes mate, no worries!
-
Oh forgot to mention guys.. The Pescaras are only 2 weeks old.
-
They're actually quite difficult to see properly in the pics (could just be my eyes!) so difficult for me to say one way or the other. Good to see some different rims on the Golf though.
My favs are still the BBS CH though - predictable choice maybe, but they just look so suited!
-
I like the pro race alloys. They are good enough for the BTCC boys and so they're good enough for me  Lightweight specials too. Come on guys, I know Ben must have been looking at them from the performance benefit side too
-
Oh yes..
But seriously guys, have a butchers at them at one of the meets/shows and get a better idea, as the more I look at the pics, the more I think they've come out crap.. Looks like they stick out, but they sit in the arches mint..
Will get some better pics up over the weekend with a decent camera.
-
I agree, in the flesh I expect would be a lot better.
Try a pic as dusk, no direct sunlight - should show the wheels up better
-
Loving the wheels!
Absolutely stunning.
-
Looking mint Vtech. I was in the running for the pescaras, but nurburg called. Now I see what you,ve done I'm liking it.
-
I will take those wheels off you at the right price!?
