sweet
now you'll be worrying whenever your car needs a service or some new tyres etc, because it will ground out on the front unless the ramp is totally flat or you manage to reverse it onto a 4 poster like we did with mine when it had a service, it nearly got stuck on there other ramp
-
How much did you lower it?
-
no tyre places i have gone to put a car on the ramps!!!!
-
How much did you lower it?
not sure !! still want to go lower but then car will not fit in garage gonna guess its 65mm/45mm
-
Looks much better now, why o why did vw give us gti's that look cross bred with 4*4's..
-
looks sweet!!
you might find it a struggle to get a trolley jack under it too now. i know we struggle, one person has to lift the shell whilst someone else fires the jack under!! either that or drive it onto a piece of wood.
mines going back standard tomorrow then up for sale :(
-
no tyre places i have gone to put a car on the ramps!!!!
what do they do then? if you want one tyre i can understand but if you want two or three surly its easier putting the car on a ramp?
-
maybe I just go to the little dodgy back street one's lol but they just trolly jack one wheel up at a time and do that tyre....

hottuning coilovers?? any good??? or go for a known make like Janspeed??
Can you use standard jack and sit on axle stands??
Tools - spanners and hands ready for pain???
I will look for links to help, but any help would be much appreciated, cause i dont want to F*** it up!!!! Just need to find a guide, step by step, to help so i dont do something that can break something, etc...
I will probably be ordering a set of coilovers in the next few days, so dont want to make a mistake.
Cheers and thanks in advance!
