Post by: VW_08 on 08 May 2008, 15:23
Where is the switch for my front fog lights?

Ive only had this car a 7-8 weeks and never needed them but just thought on my drive home from work "where is the fog light switch", had a quick butchers while i was driving and couldnt see nothing to do with fogs?

A pic might help

P.s yes iam being lazy

Just pull out the switch for the main headlights out towards you and that switches the fogs on.

Pull out once for front fogs and then again for the rear fog lights.

A light movement flashes and pulled all the way and let go turns on main beam.

To the right of the steering column, where you turn your sidelights and headlights on and off, the circular switch.

Pull that out towards you once for from fogs and twice for rear fogs.

How on earth are you meant to know that? is there a tiny tiny picture or something.

Ill try that later or first thing tomorrow morning when its not so bright outside.

Optional extra mate but dead easy to retro fit - that's what I've done! :afro:

You should be able to tell just by looking at the front of the car.

The 3 lights within the bumper each side are (starting from the inside) fog light/ blanking panel / indicator.

If you look at mine and mikesters signatures you can see the fogs compared to mat-ryders sig where he hasnt.

He has blanking panel / blanking panel / indicator.

they'll be a small fog light symbol underneath the main headlight dial. if there's only one symbol it'll be the rear fogs, if you have two symbols it'll be front and rear. the front lights up green and the rear lights up orange i do believe (unless your Kels and you have changed to LED's)
