Hey all
Today I have project for everyone. This is now the second time I am doing and only because I got nice response the lsat time I tried it.
I do art at school and my teacher has now officially decided that drawing is something I cant do. :undecided: The reason for this is because she saw some pics I took a while ago of the GTi and other images too and together we have decided Im a good photographer and from now onwards all my school art will be done via a camera and Photoshop. The last time I did something for art the topic was:
"An abstract journey"
I came up with this:

Please excuse the writing at the bottom of the picture. The writing is for the guy who took the pics website. I completely forgot to remove it and cant be bothered to crop it and reupload.
My latest project is: "Animal in art"
So... the teacher wants a GTi.... And an animal. I have no idea how to put the two together so maybe somebody here can give some ideas?
I figured I would detail the GTi tomorrow and ask my gran if I can use her Golden Retriever to do a Photoshoot somewhere pretty. But i think it will be really boring. Want something abstract and funky.
Anybody got any ideas? Please share.
**Yes this is the most random post in existance**

Maybe Manu could so something with the monkeys :D
Although I think you got two hopes if you think his going to let them anywhere near his car.
-
A "fast" is the evil bunny logo and so you could do something along that line
You may even come up with something saleable as a sideline
-
Great idea Hurdy.
So anyone got some decent pics of a fast for me?
And I think I will detail the Gti tomorrow and do a decent shoot anyway. Its about time I got a few new pics up.
About the monkeys.... Thats exactly why Im a bit nervous about the Golden retiever thing. Its a tad demented and if that dog even thinks of going near the GTi I will... be very mean.

If its animals we're talking about it has to involve a rabbit
-
i have fast in my sig, i was going to say that its abit obvious to use a rabbit and a GTI, its a no brainer
-
What about a rampant rabbit from Ann Summers stuck up a milltek zorst fitted to a GTI - it doesn't need to be switched on if still photography :embarassed:
-
Only one problem... We dont have a Milltek :embarassed:
I know the rabbit GTi connection thing. Was just wondering if anybody else had any ideas.

I would have thought if you're going to link an animal to the GTI it would have to be a rabbit as thats the only thing that comes to mind. You could do a different take on it of course...

Somebody posted up a link to a site that had a lot of wallpapers etc of the GTi including the advertisements. I remember there being Rabbit adverts etc.
I have searched and cant find it. Anybody know where its from?
Mike
I like the rabbit idea. Just wanna find a way to make it different

something like those but with the golf instead of a second animal, something without fur would be easier. a dolphin or rhino perhaps.

Hey
Hmmm. I think stick with the rabbit Toph. It seems to look right with the Golf.
Im gonna have a quick play with Photoshop.

Hey all
What is the general feeling on something like this?

I like the first one, 2nd one looks like some kind of mutant rabit lol
-
Ha ha
Its meant to be abstract :lipsrsealed:
Obviously. The education department states it has to by images so the second one is already out cos I dont have moving shots of our GTi. But its experimentation.

Micsta...i have an idea but i have absolutely no idea how to explain it!
Seems a good idea too!

Brilliant.
Love it.

So far everyone seems to like the howling rabbit. Time to get our GTi detailed and some decent pics taken with a white background.

lol!

Basically...if you have an SLR Camera reduce the shutter speed and take a picture of your car moving to get like a blurred background....and then have a shadow of a rabbit beside it....not sure if u get me?
-
would look good if you made the shadow of the rabbit look like the shadow of the car.
-
Alright. I think I get it. Give me 15 minutes on photoshop
-
Hey
I have to go. Gotta switch the server off. But here is a small attempt. I forgot the car is meant to be in focus :undecided: And obviously the bunny must be bigger.

Feel free to keep posting up ideas or comments. Will use my phone.

Yes Micsta! Something like that...a nicer backdrop, better quality picture and not a picture of a bunny howling? Didnt know they howled
More like a bunny or rabbit beside it tyring to keep up....
-
Ha ha
I dont have any pics of bunnies running. So I used the one howling from that other pic.
But I get the idea. I can experiment and find images of rabbits tonight.
This has to be my photography which means only one thing.................. I gotta take some rolling shots
Thanks everyone. I like getting other peoples opinions.
