Right as some of you know i've got my Golf TDI up for sale (mk4) and im seriously considering a mk3 Golf. I've owned a mk2 but didn't really have enough comforts so a mk3 would be in the middle. I think i'd only be able to insure the 16v and not the VR6, lately i'm loving the look of slammed, shiney and Schmidts.
Hmm.. very unsure what to do

Buy the best you can afford as the late model R regs do tend to have some goodies like heated leather/air con/sunroof etc.

^^^ What Len said, get the latest and best spec you can afford or you could try and get a nice anniversary model

slam it first ... going form a lowered mk2 to a mk3 gti at standard height was interesting to say the least

LOL i have a mk3 16v on a 98 plate with air con and sun roof, thinking of going to a mk4 GT TDI150.... but also considering modding mine instead and keeping it as selling cars can be sooooo much hassle.
And beings the mk3 i have is awesome condition and runs great it provides me with a difficult decision
