Does anyone know where I can find any information on the Conlog Logic 900 alarm immobiliser I have fitted to my 96 8v?
I think they are fairly common on the Mk 3's and they were dealer fitted.
I am specifically looking for instruction manuals or installation guides and wiring information!
Many Thanks!

Have a quick butchers at some of these replys on this forum http://www.clubgti.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=2337
One chap says he has a few sheets printed off of the manual, maybe you can get hold of him or email etc? but going by the comments on that site it doesnt sound very popular does it
Out of interest what is wrong with the alarm?

Thanks I ahve seen that thread and no it's not popular.
I'm not convinced that there is anything wrong with the alarm to be honest but I am trying to eliminate it, see my other thread on here " I THINK MY GTi IS DEAD"

Just read it, im not a mechanical person so ive no idea sorry, but yeah could be the immobiliser cutting in or something.
Could do with turning off the alarm but then you dont know how because you havent got a manual right?
Have you rang up a vw specialist? especially if the alarm is a factory fit item, they'd probably come out in the carpark and do it for you as i cant imagine it taking a second if you know what your doing.
Or even ask them if they think its the alarm making the car cut out?

I haven't spoken to them no but I'm pretty sure it would take more than that, I have taken the dash out of the car to un earth all the wires so I can go back through and disconnect them!
Thanks for your help though!

To turn off the alarm? thats all i meant, if you cant do that(to eliminate it) then ask them to disconnect it and watch what they do, if it turns out it wasnt that you know how to reconnect it then.
But if i was you id be getting a pro in, rather than change loads of parts that dont really need changing.

Thanks for your help!
