You can do the exact same mod with the GTI
Not cheap though.
-
not 4x4 either

That is pretty quick. I'm surprised the dsg box can handle the torque. If you read some of the comments after the clip, they say the 'box can handle more than was originally thought.
-
can we get the mph digital counter on our mfd??
i guess that was an s3?
d.s.g is g.o.d
-
They don't do DSG S3, thats a lie actually, seem to remember reading there is gonna be an S3 sportback available with DSG, or did I dream that
-
i notice he cant floor it from a standing start as its un controllable , someone i know near me has a 307hp ED30 and he says its totally insane, and make minced meat out 911's and M3's, but did also say you cannot floor it below 50mph cus it just cant handle the torque.
He even spotted my ed30 at my local dealership before id even told him ive bought one, his one is black and he said now seeing a red ed30 in the flesh has made him very jelous!!!.
I should be taken on a test drive this weekend to see what all this fuss of having the extra 50hp is worth considering.

Im sure that fuel needle dropped whilst watching that vid!!!!!

Well it certainly goes some. Revs through really quick.  Traction control light coming on at 50 mph
-
At about 1/3 the way through the vid, it seemed as though the clutch was slipping, revs going mad but no increase in speed or ESP light on. I don't know much about the DSG, so cannot comment on that side.
But  It certainly went well. i need more miles on the 30 before i do anything to her.
Edit - at about the 20 sec mark. Not 1/3 way.
-
Fooking hell !!!!
-
I can't wait to see what mine is like :lipsrsealed:
-
rapid yes, but only stage 3? i need to get mine on the rollers am sure i would give that a run for its money.
-
but surely putting that much power is pointless if you wanna get off the mark quickly?????, you'd only benefit above 60mph, and there isnt much left before your jeopardise your licence??
-
only use it on 1/4mile strip. Not into road racing.
but it would benefit a pel dif.
mental note add to to-list
-
whats the bhp like on stage 3
-
I for one can varify that 320bhp and 362lb/ft is certainly interesting on the road...
