Title: Screen wash warning.

My washer bottle ran empty yesterday without a warning light or sound. So when I was in at VW picking up my alloy locking nut (in which wasn't supplied in the car when I bought it from new, but thats another story) I asked them about it. They put it up on the ramps and then said it doesn't come standard on every model and mine didn't have a warning light fitted. Cheeky sods never even fill the bottle for me which was empty.

Is this true or are they fobbing me off. Its and Edition 30 btw

Sorry to dig up an old topic but the info may prove useful to someone else.

Washer warning only comes with the winter pack or if you have Xenons.
