Title: Moving right before re-newal

I'm due to be moving house right near the end of May (probabaly the 23rd but not confirmed yet) now normally I'd move my insurance over and take the admin fee as part of the cost of moving, but my insurance runs out on the 4th June anyway, so how much grace is normally given to change address after moving, could I just run out my policy on the old address, and then re-new at my new address?

Although I don't see why this would matter, it might also be worth noting I'm planning on changing cars at the same time too!

Sure you have long since sorted this but the only proper advice is to speak to your insurers :)

have you sorted this? I would need to check with customer services as im not 100% sure, i see your point though and i certainly would not wanna pay the fee there.....
