anyone seen the episode where clarkson has to do the Nurembourg (sp?) track in under 10 mins in the diesel jag? The mk2 and mk3 golfs are owning porsche's hahahaha

You'll mean the Nurburg Nordschleife.
Top Gear are the worst thing that's happened to that place.
Yes, there's lots of smaller cars that eat the big boys. Mostly cos either they're local, or talented, or tweaked to within an inch of their life (and most likely all three).
This is owned by one of the locals and is famous for passing.... pretty much everything RingMini (http://www.ringmini.de/English_Version/My_Minis/Estate/estate.html)

Fancy a trip out there next weekend, Nick?

If I had the cash mate I'd come along for sure but I need to save my pennies for the van and 3 blooming weddings this year!

Shouldn't cost too much to passenger along - hotel should be about £35 per night for three nights. Ferry's not to worry about, petrol/diesel contributions are up to you. We're heading out Thursday night, getting back Monday night and there's a touring car race on Saturday - lots of good photo opportunities....

Maybe another time bud, I'm just too skint at the moment. I'm having to sell a load of my stuff on ebay to pay for tax and MOT on the van! Have a good one though and I look forward to reading all about it when you get back.
