whats the best filler to use to fill a hole. im basically removing a badge and filling the hole. (no not my car)
P38 is it? or is there something better?
-
I think it depends on the depth of hole left by the badge, if its fair old gap then it may be worth trying to get a plate welded in then flush that over with as little filler as possible. If you end up with a big stopper of filler it could end up sinking or cracking. I dont think the make of filler is too crucial as long as you dont buy complete sh!t !

hum
it will be plastic so cant weld anything, even if it was metal i dont have a welder lol... what do you think a max depth for filler would be?
it would probably be less than 1cm!
-
That dont sound too bad, how flexible is the plastic ?
-
its not really, cant see it moving at all.
-
You might be O.K then but to be honest I've never used filler on plastic so I'm unsure of the best way to get a realy good finish :undecided:
-
thanks,
hum.. come on guys :)
-
you can weld plastic  all you need to do is find somebody that can do it
-
not me and its not a big enough job to look for someone! lol
