Hi guys, quick question, can anyone tell me if the air flow meter on a D reg 8v gti will fit on a J reg 8v gti??

D reg should be k-jet and J reg digifant so i'd say not  :smiley:

Edit: make sure the D reg is k-jet though, it could be a very early digifant  :wink:

a chipped air flow gives more power on a 18 16v ?

No, due to the fact the 1.8 16v's were all K-Jets, you cant chip those as its all mechanical. The Digifants can be chipped though.
