As the topic reads! Got myself a new car yesterday!
M reg 1994 1.6i MK3 with power steering, electric sunroof, black, 5 door, 80000 miles on the clock for £695 ;)
4 new tyres, new cam belt, very clean engine and inside, only a couple of problems due to some people who dislike people with nice things
Some people tried to break in the passeneger side so there is now a hole behind the lock, but shall be sorted soon!
Not a GTi, but I'm working on it due to age and insurance prices :o
Pics to come :D
REALLY happy with it

nice one... any golf with that mileage for the price is a good buy.

good, i always tell young drivers to get their own insurance, otherwise they stay on mum and dads till their god knows how old and then when they eventually get their own they have a high premium to pay even though their over 20
-
im 19 and i got 1 years no claims but i got 3 points for speeding wich run out this may, i got them when i was 16 on my moped,
my insurance on my 1.4 mk3 golf is £800 , im hoping when i loose my points i will be able to afford a gti
-
I wouldnt bank on it at your age  you can always get quotes though before hand
-
i can barley afford the petrol on my 1.4, so i dnt think a gti is a good idea just yet lol
