Title: Driving the valver after 6 weeks!
Post by: Goops on 28 April 2008, 16:13
I had a knee operation and have not driven for 6 weeks...
Was given the go ahead today and just went for a drive

I missed this so much, brought me back to when I first bought the car!
Even the red coolant light was a welcome annoyance! lol

If anyone is pissed off at their motor, break a leg, it genuinely helps!

If i break my leg it will most probably be from kicking my car because it has pissed me off so much, don't think it will help!

Yea...LOL, I know the feeling.  I didn't get to drive mine for 6 weeks too, but mine was from opening my new company and having to drive a little pickup around all the time.  BUT...it's not all good...on my first drive, my temp gauge said howsit and went past usually operating temp.  Seems my thermostat is buggered...and I need to replace my waterpump anyway...

Oh well, the fun continues, lol.

I swear its true...absence does make the heart grow fonder, before the operation I had a number of things that were bugging me about the car, and today even the worn out rainbow seat bolster looked ok

Ah well, the love hate relationship continues ey!
