Took the Golf down to Hullavington again on Friday. The rain stayed off all day so we had a full day with the track dry.
We went out 9 times in total, no oil or water used, no mechanical problems and the new brakes were excellant.
A few more cars there this time including a race prepared RX7 turbo which really looked the business. A couple of bad drivers including a 996 Porsche which insisted on overtaking in the corners and then spinning off a lot and getting black flagged, and knob of the day went to a Megane Sport driver who tried to get inside three cars including my daughter in the Golf on a tight twisty bit and causing them all to come to a standstill (twit).
We had one off when my wife didn't make the hairpin between the two long straights but no harm done except to a few cones.
Tried the K&N panel filter with the emptied airbox and this definately helped the speed by the end of the straights.
Picture off my daughter around the twisty bits.

Yes she easily kept the Mk1 Golf at bay. I think shes probably the faster driver out of the 3 of us. Completely no fear!!
Orange spots were to say you had passed the sound check.
