Title: Best Colour Come Resale Time ????

hiya ppl,havent been on for a while, but did enjoy my mk4 gti for the past few months, it was the 2.0 litre model and was pretty slow for a gti,no offence ppl with the 2.0 models, so sold it the other month.

didnt intend on going back to a golf soon, but drove a mate of a mates golf 4motion,feck me i was hooked!, handling and speed of those machines :grin:

anyway back to the post question, whats the best selling colours come resale time???

the 2.0litre i had was silver so sold pretty quickly, but didnt want to go get a jazz blue or red 4motion being a bit cheap and get stuck with it come resale time, i do tend to only keep my cars for 12 months, so dont wanna be stuck with it.

i was thinking top colour must be black, silver, dark blue then goin to jazz blue,red then prob green last???? what do you reckon???

i know its personal preference, but just as a rough guide.

i would say black or silver are the best for selling, i think white is the worst even though it can look the best  :undecided:

mine is a good colour come resale if the buyer turns up to look at it eh mr blue......  :angry:

Ive never sold a car but next im only going to go for a black or silver 3dr :tongue: Just my preference!

Silver :wink: Then dark greys, then black.

Non-metallics and loud colours would fare worst IMO.

I always buy the rarest colour when I go buying, but you need to pick a colour that is least offensive that every one will like to get a bigger audience etc....

personnally I wouldn't ever buy a silver or black MK4 - must see a squillian a day....  the dark red they did the 4 motion in is lovely!!! or jazz blue is nice, anything unusual gets my vote

We sell more black and silver vws than any other colour
