when i try and select reverse it crunches into gear, if i very carefully put it into reverse i can somtimes do it without it crunching but most of the time it will crunch,
also if im driving quite fast (like 80-90) for a long period of time when i slow down the gears will stik a little as im shifting down and it can be hard to get it into second, id like to know how to sort this as id really like a smooth gear change rather than having to fight it into second all the time, and im starting to get worried that i need a new gearbox,
the car is a 1993 1.4 mk3 golf and its a 4 speed,
