Does the Golf GTI Mk3 2.0 8v have a diagnostic plug?

Not sure about the 8v, but the 16v has one.

You'll need to take the ashtray right out, then slide the small blank along to the right (where the ashtray normally is).

This reveals the diagnostic plug.

Im sure the 8v will have one.

yes it does

depends what year tho to where its located, late models are located where mowat explains

early cars are located behind the blanks next to the bheated rear window button etc, they are a different type socket on the early versions so u will need a extra adapter...

mines a 94 20.8v and i cant find one on it. if u can find yours can you please let us know thanks. as i dont think al models av got one

A '94 is one of the earlier type near the heated rear window button
