The exhaust reminds me of the one that i had on my old mk2 GTi  :sick: the guy ii sold it to has removed offending item.

It was so bad someone could trip over it, ask VW-bob or AlanD

its 25 years old, of course it will be dirty under the hood! had all this when i sold mine, people turn up thinking its going to be like new! its 25 years old ffs!!  :laugh: did my head in!! looks great for the age! bet it shifts  :cool:

yeah you would need a good look round but tbh most mk1's arnt in that good a state these days unless they have had alot of coin spent - there old as fook  :grin:  :wink:

I dunno like...I've seen quite a few nice ones tbh...
seen a gorg one completely standard at a show once and got chatting to the guy - he knew his stuff but I couldn't help thinking that the reason i bought a mk 1 was to actually enjoy driving it (when its on the road), which he didn't as it was trailered to shows and basically just polished and looked after.. :undecided:
was fabulous though..

i'd be very wary.
Have to say that's what I thought when i first seen the topic..although we could just be being sceptic..  :undecided:
