i have just recieved my new gti side skirts wich im going to fit to my 1.4, i need to know wot size screw i should use to fit them on,
can i just go and buy some nuts and bolts and bolt them on?
also do i need anything else to fit them? like any special tools other than a screwdriver?
thanks

Origonaly there was plasic bits that push into the square holes in the lip of the skirt. they snaped so just get your self some nuts and bolts, use nylock nuts so they dont fall off. Simple as that. you need to glew or use numbe plate strips to stick the side bit the skirts clip on with.

I used 3M adhesive tape to stick the holders on (that the skirts hang from), plastic push-in clips along the rail under the car (to hold the skirt bottoms on) and self-tapping screws in the front/rear of the skirts to hold them into the fenders.
All of these fasteners are available at your local hardware shop. :)
