Title: S3 Sportback

Always liked the idea of a 'estate' - like the RS4 but still probably too big for what I need.. is this the answer ..

Makes sense if you need more space with a bit of performance. Had several Audi's previously and build quality is good but this car looks well too fussy in design for my own tastes. Do not like the front end at all.

Do you need 5 doors ?

You want a small estate, but the S3 is only 1cm longer than the Mk5 Golf, is that enough to make a difference ?
S3: Length: 4214 mm  Width: 1959 mm     Height:1399 mm     Weight: 1455 kg
Mk5: Length: 4204 mm  Width: 2010 mm   Height:1485 mm      Weight: 1328 kg     

The Mk5 has such a vertical back it's basically the same as an estate anyway.
If you want practicality just get a 5door Mk5. If you want 4wd and similar performance you can just get an R32 5dr for the same money.

Or a 170BHP TDI 4Motion Golf - would be the sensible option and lots cheaper with regards to fuel.

18's I think but there is always room for improvement  :wink:

5 door golf ... nah I would have the sportback  :wink:
