p0234 turbo charger overboost condition control limit exceeded.

The ECU can't control the boost within its target range. Could be a Vacuum failure. Could be a line fail or the DV could be stuck open. Even be a dodgy solenoid not activating properly.

i did complain to the stealers aout the lack of performanve i thought the car had and they told me after they test drove the car it was bang on!
now i think there is some problem for sure.

Booked the car in with dealers and they said that the code relates to the Dump valve or the divertor valve its known as.
had it replaced and it has instantly made a big difference to the fuel ecomnomy and i find the car is holding the boost much better now.
if you can here a whooshing noise which wasn't there before then more than likely your dv has split.
worth while getting it checked out.

probs a split dv if its an 05, 05 out of warrenty yet?? mine is!! id get down there asap as your warrenty might run out any day. :lipsrsealed:
