Title: Electric window motor compatability

Hi, drivers door electric window motor is goosed on my '96 Gti 3-door. Does anyone know if the motor from a 5-door Golf (same side) will fit?

Apparently they are the same.  Not 100% certain though.

VAG Cat only shows up one part number for the electric window regualtor/mechanisum
