Post by: boneybradley on 24 April 2008, 18:02: I posted my true mileage before..... but on my clocks (all 3 set's of them!!)
set 1... original clocks show 124000 (these have faulty lcd with intermitent miles display!)
set 2... from my old car spare set show 112000 (these also have faulty lcd with no maf display!)
and set 3 which i have fitted and in use show 138000 (and these have started to not show full mileage..lcd again!!)

That's 3 set's all with similar faults and unless you a hot shot at soldering there unfixable! :angry:

Post by: kells on 24 April 2008, 18:17: they are fixable.....deffo fixable, had mine in bits and replaced them, sometimes its not actually the lcd display, it is in fact the contacts on the back of the board, or on the older ones they have some little slides that slip down the screens at each side, its these that dont contact correctly

but worse case senario, i could change the lcds :cool:

Mine is 181k on a 96 plate!

But to be fair the engine was swapped at 150k as it wouldnt pass emissions tests no matter what was done to it. (I knew the previous owner)

The lump thats in it at the mo is supposed to have done about 90k now. However the rest of the car is in amazing condition for the amount of miles imo.
