those that have done de-cat , you noticed any real benefits? what kind of re-map are we talking about about when you go de-cat?

it wil give u more power, its just one of those facts, less restriction, how much depends on the other mods.

Just de-catting without other mods and a remap wont give you much more power, indeed it could cause back pressure.
Do the cone filter or drilled air box with paper filter and a good exhaust system then de-cat and remap and come back and tell us what you get! :wink:

Word, this is the other problem, unless you have a mate at an MOT center than can fix it for you....
I dont think its worth it, unless your runin a 16v or vr6?
What engine is for?

looking to do it on a ABF engine, any one got any recommendation for places to do the Re-map? de-cat pipe should be easy fit shouldnt it, its bolt fit at one end & sleeve fit at the other so cant be more than 30 mins work....agree?

Should be simple if the nuts and bolts aren't badly corroded.
