Hey,

Im Chris (Woollett). I'm a mechanic in the RAF based at Wittering, Cambridgeshire. I would say I was a VW nut who has had a couple of years off due to child birth and the aquisition of a free motorcycle license (I didn't give birth by the way!) :smiley:

My first car was a 1986 1084 Polo, that was green when I first got my hands on it, but after many hours work with the T-Cut and a duster it was actually Dark Red (forget the actual name). Then a blue 1997 2.0 16v Toledo. Unfortunately I then ventured into the GM world, which has been an experience.

Now looking for a Mk2 GTi (with help from Lewy) to get me back on track. Looking forward to exploring this font of knowledge in the (hopefully) not too distant future.
