i went to try and fit my webber carb today. i ripped off the pierburg and the i saw the flange and i looked at the webber one then looked at the pierburg, then the webber and so on. the pierburg as a rectangleish flange and the webber is like diamondy. what can i do. apart from getting a new inlet manifold.
-
err.. it should fit..
-
sorry, i mean, if you unbolt the pb, and the weber, and swap flanges.. it will fit believe mee

sorry again pb
-
pierburg.. hehe.. theres 3 bolts down thru the entire body of the pierburg.. into the flange, and theres an adapter plate with boltings, that go into the flange via the base of the weber, not thru the body like the pierberg
-
yeah but the flange from the pb is bolted to the inletmanifold in a different place to the webbers flange.
-
thats why you use the one from the pierburg.. thats the original one after all, which the weber has an adapter to fit to.
it must ahve been fitted to a different vehicle prior to you buying it
-
this pb is then bolted to the flange with 3 bolt and the webber has to be bolted to the flange in 4 places but in places different places.
the webber also sits on this.

but im after a flange that has the webber top half, a 34dmtr and the pb bottom half, a pb 2e3. do they do them?
i think the chap had it on a a rocco?
its a 34dmtr and it says on webber.com that a 32dmtr is needed will this make a difference.
-
try calling webcon.. you might need a new baseplate.
-
