Title: Cracked MFA display
Post by: JRC on 22 April 2008, 12:46
Hi all

My MFA screen has a nice crack through it so I can only see the last two digits.  Where can I buy a new one from and how much do they cost?   1992 16v GTI

ta.

can't you get the LCD screen separately and just fit it to the MFA unit? seems a bit excessive to get new clock just for a tiny little screen.

can you get them from breakers yards.  I've looked at GSF but they don't seem to stock them.

you may be able to swap the mfa glass over, but it wont be easy.  its up to you to decide if its worth it when you can just get a new set of clocks for £20 or less, swap in your old speedo and jhobs a goodun!

Remember you can keep your current mileage by transferring your existing speedo and putting it with the new rev counter/mfa side.
