Post by: richy on 20 April 2004, 08:40
I've posted the following question in the Garage section....

Can anyone offer any ideas?

Get it checked anyway, always worthwhile.
Where did you get it done in the end? Just as well you didn't come round to mine on Sunday, as it pissed down with rain all day  :D

Got it done at "The Auto Pool" VAG specialist in Iver, Bucks (only 10 mins down the road).

They were pretty quick (3 hours from when I dropped it off) and not too expensive (about ?150). The bloke who owned it seemed a nice chap too! ;D

They said that the camber and tracking would be OK.  I'm just not sure who to take it to to get it checked, becuase the figures for non-lowered cars wouldn't apply, so a normal tyre place probably wouldn't suffice.

Should be able to get it done at a normal tyre place. 30mm isn't that much lower.
I thought you were going to get the job done for 100 bar  ;)
Of course i would of set the camber for you  ;)
Good luck  :)
