i keep seeing vag-com splashed all over this and other sites. what is it , what does it do , how much , has anybody got one in or near doncaster,,,,,,,,,,,, i'll be in sidcup this thursday all day with my car if anyone has one near there,,,,,,,,,,, cheers

VAG-COM basically allows you to alter factory settings in around 9,000 various parts of the car. The main settings that people tend to alter are convenience settings like door locking and lights. VAG-COM can also diagnose errors on your car, so you can have the pre-knowledge of what may be happening to a faulty car before taking it to a dealer (or doing the repair yourself). It also has some more advanced useable features like graphical representations of track data etc.

It is a really good piece of kit which I severely underuse :embarassed:

The only downsides are that you need a PC for most functions.
