my car has now been in the repair shop for 4 weeks awaiting the lower rear valence or spoiler, i've just been told that it is still on back-order and isn't even due into the country untill the 9th may  any one have any bright ideas where i might be able to get one from, as i'm having to drive around in a vectra :embarassed: don't know how much longer i'll be able to stand the shame! 6 weeks for a bumper is taking the piss. HELP

Oh no
That sounds terrible. Mine's due to go in tomorrow for something similar (rear end shunt) - how will I cope??

i was speaking to somebody about this part at awesome in manchester, they said they could have it in one week :smug:
its funny how decent garages with good rep can get VW parts faster than a VW dealership

wish that was the case, they told me they have to order them through vw and if they arn't in stock they arn't in stock  anyone got any other ideas, the thought of having to be without bluefin power for another 2-3 weeks isn't funny. by the way, don't ever ever buy a vectra

thats shocking mate, I know how you feel, I lost mine for a week when some idiot reversed into it in a carpark, needed a new wheel arch panel, but easy to get hold of obviously... waiting for that length of time must be awful, hope you get it back soon.

I bought mine off ebay for £78

How about having the standard GTI rear valance fitted until an ED30 one arrives? They are only about £35 and would be better than a Vectra. You could always sell it on after the ED30 valance gets fitted
