Hi There,
Am pretty new to all this forum stuff.
Just after some advice really. I have a 96 GTi colour concept which Im looking to sell. It has a years MOT and the body is basically ok it just needs a bit of mecahnical TLC and I dont have the time or the inclination to carry on with it
Im trying to figure out the best way to sell it. Are you allowed to sell on these forums or does anyone know of a VW enthusiasts place where I can sell it? It would basically be a project for someone to take on which doesnt sound quite so appealing when trying to sell in regular Auto Trader!!
Thanks for your help!
Simone

classifieds section at the bottom of the forum, 'Cars for sale'
-
take some pics of it, and put it on the for sale section here?
in the classifides bit.
good luck.
you could also try ebay, as the colour concepts/ anniversarys seem to get more bids on there than normal gtis

how much u lookin. and where (dubmad)

Put it up for sale in as many places as you can!
If you tell us where you are there maybe a local forum as well.

piston heads is a popular choice... especially if your car stands out a bit which a colour concept will...

lol @ len.. 'tell me where you live little girl..'

This is a lady?
Might have been a frenchman.

Ebay is just as respectable as Auto Trader as far as buying cars goes these days. If you set the price you want for it as the reserve price, you may even get more than you wanted for it ;)

no Len...im definately a lady...was last time i checked anyhow!
am near portsmouth and will be looking to get about £1000 for it, have looked around and seen that they go for a lot more when they are up together.
The inside is immaculate, have been told the ABS needs sorting out and needs some proper tune up or something...from a girlie point of view it keeps losing power, dont know much more than that!!
will take some pics at the weekend and get it up on the classifieds and hopefully have some luck selling it!!
thanks for all the advice!!

Glad we cleared that up Simone!
If thats all thats wrong with it then you shouldnt have much problem.
With a colour concept the thing that seels them most is the coloir and condition of the bodywork and also the upholstery.
So yea get some good pics done and post em up!
