Hi all, can anyone advise how to take out the CD autochanger in the arm rest?
Is a special tool necessary?
Hope someone can advise...theres a wee screw rattling around and its doing my nut in!

Centre armrest retro-fit install here - do the reverse to uninstall. Not sure about the CD changer - likely to be drop in install into the armrest unit.

Thanks Cass, yep saw that but kind of guessing that the changer needs a kind of special tool to lift it out...dont have any trim tools to try prising it out....anything else will mark the console.

Can you not lift out the centre console/armrest and push the cd changer out from "inside"?

which changer do you have, is it like this

depending on which model you have you will need a radio removal key (or two in this case), there is two slots on the bottom where you push the keys, you can make some using an old credit card if you know what your doing, but as it sits verticaly it may prove hard to remove without the keys

Thanks aHaaa! yes thats the one! :)
so there ARE removal tools..excellent...fleebay? or vw dealer? will they supply?
