depends what you want to spend, the G60 is a wild engine that is easy to tune over 200+ and the Vr6 is more of a smoother engine but is expensve to tune, i,ve personally gone for the G60 conversion,
-
i think the vr6's weight mucks up the handling a bit too
-
thats true, just go for the good old G60 or infact the 1.8t is just as cheap nowdays, but i'm standing by the VW classic, just love the supercharger whail,
-
How much do swaps cost nower days Roughtly?
-
Personally I am a fan of the G60. It gets alot of bad publicity as being expensive to tune and maintain but properly tuned it is bullet proof. I'll take a 'charger over a turbo anyway. No lag. :)

does anybody know roughly how much one of these conversions costs?
-
Off the top of my head I would say that to have it done you're looking at around 4K :-\

You can get a good engine and charger for the region of ?1000. However I am going to look at getting a crashed G60 Corrado should I decide to do mine. Then I will have everything i need less the intercooler but am sure I can track down any bits i need.
