Ooh those look good, along with the 2 extra gauges, thinking about a boost gauge here...
-
love the foot rest, do you have a link??
-
http://www.osirdesign.com/ find info there, and order from the TT shop in uk
-
someone has the pedal already i fink, i am meant to be getting one when they come into the tt-shop.
others are glue, the inserts for the lower dash are a bit ott for me.
-
Foot pedal is screwed in by 3 screws and the inserts are glued. :nerd:
Tried to lure me into having the inserts when I was at the TT shop, but I managed to resist even though they showed them me in the car ......just!

I don't mind a bit of screwing

Didn't bother getting as far as the costs.
They both add weight and do nothing apart from giving a bit of eye candy. I prefer my CF to reduce the weight of the car
-
Hurdys right has three holes & some big washer type things for fitting...The pedal was £60ish from thett shop:

do they screw into the plastic ? (i.e need to make new holes)
-
I,m removing the dead pedal unit after the ring trip. I dont like the idea of screwing either,() so thinking maybe I could design it round the unit itself.Have it folded and connected to the original bolts maybe..
Will let you know how I get on.
Can anyone tell me the thickness of the Unit bought.?.
Cheers, Gulf

Looks spot on that K4ith.. Something that the car should of had from standard IMO..
But i'm fooked if i'm paying £60 for one.. £20-30 maybe, but £60

i was going to get those gauges but they arnt very easy to read whilst driving, and the other is like oil pressure or somthing, so not really needed. I prefer where mines mounted (air vent)
-
Quite like the dead pedal but its quite pricey plus I dont fancy fitting it myself, not very good with things like that!! I agree with you there Joe your boost gauge looks spot on where it is may look into getting one when I free up some cash
-
Its not that thick, the rubber slats actually come out they are in 2 bits(top&bottom) so i taped them on so no movement.
the o-rest requires 3 holes for the screws but mine wont be coming of, its there for good. Its over priced granted but its the only decent one about.
-
....Agreed that the 'dead' pedal is a bit too pricey - Not for what it is but for what it does (or doesn't) do.
Having any gauge/dial positioned as far down as by the gearshift is a poor solution in my opinion. Up where Joe has his in the vent, or dashboard mounted, is much safer imo.
I'm about to upload and post some better shots of my bum (the OSIR carbonfibre + R32 rear!!)

I don't mind fitting a few bits for you tom, I'm pretty handy with the spanners, fix planes for a living, all I ask in return is u let me hear your exhaust before I decide which 1 2 buy

i would be interested in the dead pedal if it wasn't screwed in , perhaps wait and see what gulf comes up with
