Title: manifold painting

word up, well going to have a bash at a bit of engine painting, got some high temp matt black paint, i want to do my manifold and some other bits and bobs, can i just whack it on?

exhaust or inlet???? basically it needs to be clean from oil and grease and all the usual gunk that you find in an engine bay before you start to paint or it wont stick dont applie it too thick or it could run and look crap  :cool:

Just make sure the paint is capable of withstanding 500 C +

Usually have to run engine after an hour to harden paint!
A clean and dry manifold and it will stick like *****
