Hi guys, tthis probably gonna sound weird, but when the car is completley switched off, I can hear some kind of electronic noise or chatter from the rear of the car. it can go away sometimes but i think its either getting louder or i can tune my ear into hearing easily. Can any one shed some light into this please??? I know i have a front main beam bulb fused if it could be because of that.
An before you say it could be you amp, I was getting this noise before i fitted my ICE.
Thanks in advance.

very strange never heard of that before, although sometimes on a warmer day after turning me car off the fan will spin by itself and cool the engine down for a few minutes.

the central lock pump is behind the rear light and if it leaks this can makes noises! more of an air leaking noise and possibly electrical hum as the motor continues working....
-
I know in my old Mk1 the fuel pump used to make a similar noise. Where is the fuel pump on the MK3's?
-
Central lock pump could be plausible!
any ideas how to rectify this???
-
Dont think its anything to do with the door lock pump - Iv`e got that problem and its noisy as Fcuk! - the back corner of the car vibrates!
-
Come on someone must know what this noise is???
Or exactly where this is coming from???

The only electronics back there are the central locking pump, rear wiper motor and the fuel pump.
