Post by: davy80 on 18 April 2008, 13:02
Hey guys i have a mk4 2.0 gti, i took the oil cap off and have a lovely touch of mayo onit but she aint losin water which would if the head gasket was gone, could this just be condinsation or could the sump gasket be away? there is no oil leaking either but my tailpipes are really black at the ends on the outside. any help would be good.
also do i need to use PD oil from VW or can i use s/s oil but good stuff cause sh!t oil is sh!t oil lol. cheers.

Does it do lots of short journeys where it doesn't properly warm up, if so may just be condensation.

1.8T engine is your best bet, it will cost more to convert it than to buy a 1.8T tho

sell yours and buy a different car - no point building a car that has already been built.

MK4 2.0 8v...... no wonder your after more power  lol
