LOOKING FOR A BIT OF ADVISE REALLY: THE CARS DONE 109 THO 1992 ON A K REG STANDARD APART FROM SEBRING FRONT TO BACK EXHAUST, WHAT CAN BE DONE???
WHERE IS BEST TO TAKE IT FOR ROLLING ROAD/ TUNE UP NEAR LINCOLN??

Paul Goy racing on the Allenby estate or there's a place in Waddington that's supposed to be ok too. I know where it is but can't remember the name!!??  :-[

As for power gains on the valver, K&N panel filter with full exhaust should give you a bit and/or get the head polished and ported. Volkskraft in Fiskerton did the work on mine and are pretty reasonable on costs too

Your from lincoln then found those seats i was after getting them on saturday.
What car is yours?? I got a white k reg mk2 5 door you might have seen it??

ive got full stainless on my new 16ver, and a pipercross induction kit and its been superchipped, its a 89 (f) with 130k on the clock and it goes like stink (but smokes now and then)would like to drive a standard one to see how they compare cause until i got this a week ago i thought the 8vs were pretty nippy but htis thing blows me mk4 20v and my 8v clean away!!

fook knows, just sayin what i was told, does go like the clappers, hmm, i seem to remember superchipping old k-jet rs turbos so i guess since these run off the same system its possible?? what do i know any way?? i know nothing...........................]

Mk2 16v are well fast, unfortunately they can't be chipped as they are mechanical fuel injection  :)

just checked superchip website and theres nothing for the 16v golf :( will do some more research......

It can't be done, k-jet has no ECU only ignition control unit. No ECU no chip  >:(
Was that 8v you sold Marcus tuned up? sounds like it mate.

fook the superchip it goes like stink!! lol

dunno if any mods done to 8v i sold marcus but it did pull like a trooper, handled spot on aswell on its gmax suspension, can see why hes havin fun!! lol

Like the look of your 16valver.  Fancy one myself.  Might try and persuade my wife to swap our Polo for one! (Don't think she'll agree though as she loves that car.  >:( )
