Do you need your key in to start the unit up (i.e radio etc)

i dont but i dont have that unit  :sad: should be on a constant anyway shouldnt it??  :huh:

yeh it did, i just updated the firmware to latest version and now it doesnt come on, perhaps its because i had key in and out alot, perhaps i need to just go try it from fresh

No, you can power it up without a key.

Maybe give it some time (30 min or so) to fully reboot itself.

yeh, its sorted now, cheers, it had gone in to battery saving mode (been left for nearly an hour for update), all ok since i locked car and left it a while
