Hi folks
mk2 Golf GTI 90 spec no wipers, no heater everything thing else works fine
Read all the suggestions on the forum like relay and water ingress but appears not to be either of these
Its only got 38k on the clock wonder if its still in warranty !!!!, joking
Anyone any better ideas

38k?! Get some pics up!
Wiper problem:
Check the fuses
Give the relay a tap or swap it around with another working relay
Check you are getting 12v to your wiper motor (if you are then maybe your motor has siezed up)
If you are not getting 12v to the wiper motor, then you have a relay, wiper stalk switch, or wire problem.
Heater problem:
Is it the fan not working?

Its a common issue, unfortunately it can't be fixed.
But I'll take her off your hands and give her a good place to rest

check the x-over relay, grey one with 18 on the front. This should click as soon as key is turned, if not its kaput or the ign switch isn't passing current to it somewhere along the line. Double check the relay positiuons as per my fusebox FAQ as well, in case someone took it out and put it in the wrong place!

Thanks for the tips, will try and look at the weekend , just to clarify bith wipers and heaters work but only intermittently, and since the weather got warmer they work even less frequently.
JUst want to start using the car and getting the engine freed up
