Current the golf has the o ring type, but they dont hold the exhaust high enough up, so you get the pipe banging on the rear beam.
What ones do i want?
cheers guys

To be honest just lining it up properly using the pit will be fine. It's such a mission trying to align an exhaust whilst lay on your back with no room to lever the thing
ps. You have my old car!

There's a few sellers doing powerflex ones on ebay if you dont get VAG ones.
-
have you ever tried getting the powerflex ones on!!! not easy at all lol
im sure you can get reinforced rubber ones, id go for those

i used jubalee clips round mine

Won't they risk falling off if the exhaust bounces upwards??
-
not if there is no where to bounce. i had cable ties on once when mine broke, never gave me any sh!t so i left em on lol

i have o ring rubbers, then jubalee clips round that, keeps everything nice and tight

i find the centre section one is always snapping on mine, time for some cable ties then...!
-
I think they're all a bugger at snapping. I always carry spares, it's the O ring ones i find the weakest. You could always double up on some of them?

i use jubilees like dubslug, like dees:
